I find this very annoying. In programming environments this never happens. Is this particular to Texmaker or is it a bug? Anyone know how to work around this?

I just figured out that the issue is a know one. code.google.com/p/texmaker/issues/detail?id=37 I simply cant work with such bad navigation. If anyone knows of other portable tex viewers that behave as every other ide does in this environment let me know- thanks. – user2152812 Mar 11 at 2:40
see this biglist of LaTeX IDE's and choose your's. you can also navigate from pdf table of contents. – texenthusiast Mar 11 at 3:28
