Is there a TeX question here? – David Carlisle Mar 13 at 1:19
Is there a ubuntu question here, indeed? – JLDiaz Mar 13 at 1:20
@JLDiaz i think there is :| – Kayla Mar 13 at 1:23
I knew a .bat file only from Windows. What do you mean with .bat? – Kurt Mar 13 at 1:33
I see that you are trying to transfer a TeX related file, but the question is still one about an operating system, it is really irrelevant that the file is a TeX file. I suggest you ask this question on askubuntu.com, shich is another site on stackexchange, one that deals with Ubuntu related questions. – Jan Hlavacek Mar 13 at 1:37
