TeX - LaTeX Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for users of TeX, LaTeX, ConTeXt, and related typesetting systems. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm a spanish electronic technician and student of electronic engineering. Today I can say I use linux for almost anything regarding my work. My set-up for writing documents rigth now is emacs+latex. Recently I've discovered that groff is the standart typesetting system on any *nix system. Due the lack of information on internet (some dificult manuals etc) I'd like to ask somebody to give any clue in this new typesetting adventure, specialy how to get spanish output. (I must say that I'm happy with latex, but learning new things it's always good isn't it?).

Thanks and sorry if I've destroied the english language with this message :).

I think unix.stackexchange.com or superuser.com are better places to ask this question. – Caramdir Feb 12 '11 at 21:12

Calling the *roff tools "standard" on unix isn't wrong, exactly. But it isn't quite right either. As far as I know very few people use them anymore except for preparing man-pages. In any case, this may not be the best place to ask. You might try unix.stackexchange.com . – dmckee Feb 12 '11 at 21:12
