I am using Texstudio, however when I press preview, I am getting an error saying Failed to find file C:\Users\Divy\AppDat

Any idea what is the reason for this error?

Please provide a little more information. Does the path really end with AppDat? Which version of TXS are you using? Did you modify the preview settings in Options -> Preview? – Tim Hoffmann Aug 27 '13 at 16:55
