# Glossaries: No output [closed]

The code compiles but no output for Glossaries. I don't see any error message. I checked .glo file. It is empty. The code is here in short

Welcome to TeX.SX! Declaring a glossary entry is not sufficient; you have to use a \gls command for making it into the glossary. Note that html is a very obsolete package and it's not compatible with hyperref, as far as I know; load hyperref later. –  egreg Aug 27 at 21:31
Could you please let me know how/where to use \gls command! I am using WinEdt 6.0. Thanks in advance. –  Shyama Aug 27 at 21:33
I had to use hyperref and had to place it in the beginning as my figure captions were long and went out of the right margin. –  Shyama Aug 27 at 21:40
I used \Gls{electrolyte} after \printglossaries but no output again! Although now the .glo file contains this \glossaryentry{electrolyte?\glossaryentryfield{electrolyte}{\glsnamefont{electro‌lyte}}{solution able to conduct electric current}{\relax }|setentrycounter{page}\glsnumberformat}{14} –  Shyama Aug 27 at 21:49
This question appears to be off-topic because it is about a problem due to outdate (or missing) software –  egreg Dec 7 at 23:08
