I'm trying to follow the details outlined in the manual for configuring the appearance of arrow tips. But, I get nothing but errors.

I'm trying to get the examples from section 16.3 on Arrow keys to work. Here is my minimal working example:

  \tikz{\draw[-{Stealth[length=5mm]}] (0,0) -- (2,0);}

which generates the following error:

! Package pgf Error: Unknown arrow tip kind 'Stealth'.

See the pgf package documentation for explanation.
Type H <return> for immediate help.

l.9       \tikz{\draw[-{Stealth[length=5mm]}]
                                              (0,0) -- (2,0);}

If I'm not loading the correct libraries, I'm not sure what they should be.

If I try

  \tikz{\draw[-{stealth[length=5mm]}] (0,0) -- (2,0);}

Note stealth this time (as opposed to Stealth). I get the error:

! Package pgfkeys Error: I do not know the key 'length', to which you passed '5
mm', and I am going to ignore it. Perhaps you misspelled it.

See the pgfkeys package documentation for explanation.
Type H <return> for immediate help.

l.9       \tikz{\draw[-{stealth[length=5mm]}]
                                              (0,0) -- (2,0);}

What am I not doing correctly?

PS: I'm using a CVS version of TikZ dated September 30, 2013:

The arrows library is depreciated. Use arrows.meta instead.

  \tikz{\draw[-{Stealth[length=5mm]}] (0,0) -- (2,0);}

arrow with length option

So I have a couple of questions: (1) There's no place at the beginning of chapter 16 that informs the user that they need a special library for this feature--though now I see arrows.meta is buried in the introductory material--how do I make recommendations that this be displayed more prominently? (2) Where do I read or how do I learn about which libraries are deprecated and which aren't? – A.Ellett Oct 3 '13 at 12:17
I found it by looking in the documentation for the "arrows" library under "Libraries". (I only found out about this new feature because I looked for Section 16.3 in my PGF manual, found it was about nodes, and wondered what was going on. So I updated PGF and it all appeared.) Yes, it could probably be made more explicit in the new documentation on arrows. This can be reported on the PGF bug tracker on sourceforge. – Loop Space Oct 3 '13 at 13:38
But remember that this is the CVS version so one should expect that there will be gaps in the documentation. On the other hand, the only way that they will fill in the gaps is if people report them so definitely go ahead and report it. – Loop Space Oct 3 '13 at 13:40
I am aware of the risks with the CVS versions. :) I've been eagerly awaiting this new feature. So, I'm glad you could help me out on this. I'll report this matter of documentation to the PGF bug tracker later today. Thanks again. – A.Ellett Oct 3 '13 at 13:57
