I can't install my fonts in MacTex 2013; it wasn't a problem when I used MacTex 2012.

I always did the following:

  1. I copied my font-tree with the .map files and anything else in /usr/local/texlive/texmf-local/

  2. Typed sudo -H mktexlsr

  3. Activated the fonts with sudo –H updmap-sys --enable Map=xxx.map

  4. Typed sudo -H mktexlsr

Like O said, this worked for me the whole time until MacTex 2013. Now I get the error

pdfTeX error: /usr/texbin/pdflatex (file 5fpr8t): Font 5fpr8t at 570 not found"

Do you have any ideas how to fix the problem or whats the reason for the problem?

Did you test that kpsewhich could find at least some of the font files, presumably .pfb files or similar. – daleif Oct 27 '13 at 7:15
