I have a problem updating TeXLive 2013 on a Windows 7 machine. I get the following error message:

enter image description here

enter image description here

After a few minutes it stops.

I have updated to the lastest tlmgr version (downloading the .exe file), and I also configured the CTAN server (as in my linux machine). (I'm also running tlmgr with administrator privileges.)

I don't know what's going on. It might be associated with the fact that I am behind a university firewall. The IT manager can open for me the ports required, but I need to know which ones are used by tlmgr.

Any ideas on this issue?

The CTAN mirror you're using seems down. – egreg Nov 19 '13 at 21:48
It happens with all mirrors. – NVaughan Nov 19 '13 at 21:48
Related Problem with updating tlmgr: Bad hostname. I think tlmgr should be run from admin login (tlmgr update -all -self) and may be firewall is hurting the process. – texenthusiast Nov 19 '13 at 23:33
Yes, I've tried that too. – NVaughan Nov 19 '13 at 23:43
