# How can I insert verbatim text to beamer notes?

I would like to inset Verbatim text to beamer notes. When using Verbatim in beamer notes, I got errors. For your information, below is what I would like to do.

\begin{frame}[containsverbatim]
\frametitle{Date and Time Setup}
\begin{itemize}
\item ABC
\item DEF
\end{itemize}

\note{
\begin{Verbatim}[fontfamily=courier, fontsize=\footnotesize,
obeytabs=true, tabsize=4]

My Verbatim Text Here!

\end{Verbatim}

} % end of notes

\end{frame} % end of frame

Beamer comes with an own verb environment semiverbatim. This makes it possible to use overlays, or highlight things within the verbatim text. –  Johannes_B Nov 28 '13 at 9:16
What kind of error you are getting? I do not get any in my machine with your code. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. –  Masroor Nov 28 '13 at 10:03
@MMA you have to \setbeameroption{show notes on second screen} to get the error. –  Johannes_B Nov 28 '13 at 14:23
@Johannes_B Thanks for your comments. Yes, it works. I would like to set the fontsize of text in semiverbatim to "footnotsize". I have been searching for that, but no luck. Do you know how to change the fontsize? –  user41839 Nov 29 '13 at 0:11
@Johannes_B I found a way. I put "\fontsize{9pt}{10}\selectfon' in side of \semiverbatim. Thanks for your helps! –  user41839 Nov 29 '13 at 1:39
