# Large \$\forall\$

How to get larger \$\forall\$ symbol? Adding \Big\$ doesn't work.

\Large \$\forall\$ –  Seamus Apr 8 '11 at 14:39
@Seamus: You mean {\Large \$\forall\$}. :-) –  Martin Scharrer Apr 8 '11 at 14:48

## 1 Answer

This is the most modest increment on Seamus' and Martin Scharrer's comments above: if you use it more than once, you may as well go ahead and define

\newcommand\bigforall{\mbox{\Large \$\mathsurround0pt\forall\$}}

which will co-operate with the mathmode context you will likely be using the symbol in.

Don't forget the \mathsurround=0pt. –  TH. Apr 9 '11 at 9:16
Done, thanks TH. –  Niel de Beaudrap Apr 9 '11 at 10:55
