I am using a Texmaker-Miktex setup. Usually everything is working fine. My code is okay, I know that. But sometimes, if I click on compile, in the log file window, the success-indicating blue lines appear immediately. This means, my document is not really being compiled. There are no errors, no warnings. I may be working for hours and it is okay, then it suddenly appears and I can't trace the reason. Does anyone have same experience and knows a solution?

If I delete the logfile, trying to "reset" Texmaker this way, it throws an error "can't find logfile".

What compiling option do you use? If you use XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX, pdf output not shown immediately on built-in or external viewer. – ferahfeza May 20 '14 at 9:54
User-defined: "../MiKTeX/miktex/bin/pdflatex.exe" -interaction=nonstopmode -synctex=1 %.tex|"../Miktex/miktex/bin/bibtex.exe" %.aux|"../MiKTeX/miktex/bin/pdflatex.exe" -interaction=nonstopmode -synctex=1 %.tex|"C:/Program Files/Adobe/Reader 10.0/Reader/AcroRd32.exe" %.pdf – user2366975 May 20 '14 at 12:49
