I am using the beamer class. I had a working installation on Windows XP with MikTeX. After switching to Windows 7 (not my choice...), I get the error below, also with weird looking text between pages.

Package kvsetkeys Error: Undefined key `pdfpageduration'. \end{frame}
(followed by: ) intro.tex /Presentation1 line 19 Texlipse Build Error

This happens with TexLive as well as with MikTeX. The same error repeats for each \end{frame} in the document.

Which version of TeXLive and MikTeX are you using? Did you update the packages recently? If not please do that. I have the feeling it is just a matter of an outdated class or package. If this doesn't fix it please update your question to include a minimal working example (MWE) that causes this error message, so that other people can investigate it. – Martin Scharrer May 18 '11 at 21:40
No MWE, no other response, no chance of a fix without detail! – Joseph Wright Jul 17 '11 at 11:07
