TeX - LaTeX Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for users of TeX, LaTeX, ConTeXt, and related typesetting systems. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am making some styles in word and don't know how to name some styles. First style is Chapter, for exampe 1., 2., etc. After that there are Sections, for example 2.1, 2.2., etc. But now what is next, how it is named if I have 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.1.4, etc?

Welcome to TeX.sx! The topic here is broadly TeX-related, whereas you seem to be asking about Word. I'm afraid that is going to be off-topic. – Joseph Wright Sep 19 '11 at 20:05
In TeX it is subsection, as any introductory text will tell you. But if your question is about MS Word, then it is clearly off-topic. – Caramdir Sep 19 '11 at 20:07
You are right, I write this text into OpenOffice Writer. I din't saw any forum on stackexchange where I could ask this question, and thought this site is nearest..Sorry for offtopic. But I also want to say that this question doesn't have anything with Tex or Word it's a matter of naming convention, and I thought that someone here knows it. – Иван Бишевац Sep 19 '11 at 21:30
See tex.stackexchange.com/questions/17780/… for TeX document hierarchy – naught101 Apr 3 '12 at 1:29
