Some of default key bindings in TeXworks are completely unusable for me. I use a German keyboard and the comment keys are Ctrl+Shift+], which on my keyboard can only be realized with Ctrl+Shift+AltGr+9. This however is not accepted by TeXworks.

However I could not find any way to change the key binding. Is this configurable somehow?

Further I would like to have "% " (percent plus space).

I use TeXworks for editing .dtx files.

Changing the keyboard shortcuts is something that can be done by a translator, when translating the interface, but there is an open issue in the TeXworks issue tracker concerning this. It is marked as "started", and there is a patch available for download in the discussion about the issue, that allows one specify shortcuts in a shortcuts.ini file:

I haven't tried this myself.

So basically it is not implemented in the current release. – Matthias Pospiech Oct 14 '11 at 8:46
@MatthiasPospiech Yes, that's right. Hopefully it's not too far away though. – Torbjørn T. Oct 14 '11 at 9:54
