TeX - LaTeX Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for users of TeX, LaTeX, ConTeXt, and related typesetting systems. It's 100% free, no registration required.

When I put a link to a video in a TeX file and click on the resulting PDF the browser opens and waits for full download, once download is complete, a second click opens the video. Is it possible to give an option in TeX to the user (as in a menu opening up on PDF) to have the media player opening up immediately and play the video as it is being downloaded?

Off-topic, I'm afraid, because this has nothing to do with the TeX document itself, which just contains the link. It may be more on-topic on Stack Overflow, whereto a mod could migrate this question. – doncherry Apr 26 '12 at 19:55
@doncherry Thanks. I thought the behavior of href could be different and less specific than movie15 commands for inclusion of video. – Maesumi Apr 26 '12 at 20:53
