I am using at present TeXshop under Mac OS 10.7; when recently installing Aquamacs, it turns out that it does not find the TeX installation (Texlive 2011). I tried to set the search path for Aquamacs accordingly, but I did not find the place where to do that.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to TeX.SX! Did you install TeX Live or MacTeX? On Mac OS X the latter is recommended (it's just TeX Live, actually, but it adds what's necessary so that the system is aware of it without user's intervention). – egreg Jun 15 '12 at 10:23
It's just Texlive, as far as I can see: the TeXshop log file says something like /usr/local/texlive/2011/... – E.-E. Doberkat Jun 15 '12 at 10:27
