I am writing a CV using the currvita style and multibib, so that I can have lists of different publication types. What I'd really like to do is have the entries numbered, so that you can tell at a glance how many papers there are in each section. I don't have any numbers in the bibliographies, though, even if I add normal \cite commands. Is there a way to add numbering in the bibliographies?

You can do this with biblatex and refsection. biblatex allows different styles for the bibliography and the cite-commands. – Marco Daniel Aug 4 '12 at 22:28
