    /alpha theta 90 sub def
    /weight 1.5 def

  \psline{->}(!alpha dup cos weight mul exch sin weight mul)
  \uput[(!1 -1)]{(!1 dup)}% how to use alpha here?
    (!alpha dup cos weight mul exch sin weight mul){$\vec{w}$}

\uput[(! 1 -1)]{! alpha} ...

angles can also be preceeded by a ! operator. However, using \pcline is also possible, then it is easier to place the text

But labelsep in uput cannot be in RPN. For example: \uput{!2 sqrt}[45](0,0){A} does not produce the expected result. – kiss my armpit Apr 12 '13 at 8:21
My above comment has been solved. – kiss my armpit Aug 30 '13 at 0:56
