I'll be pleased if someone could help me. I need a template to perform an announcment of a workshop in our department. It should present the speakers (each one with his abstract), dates, room where the talks take place, some logos ans so on.

Welcome! This is a question-answer site whereby your question is too localized. In general your question leads to discussion instead of answering a special issue. I suggest providing a basement of your request (document class etc) with a specific feature request. – Marco Daniel Aug 17 '12 at 20:32
As a follow-up to what Marco Daniel says: We cannot help you unless you show how exactly the document should look like (you can start with an MSWord/OpenOffice document and post a screen-shot). As well, it would be nice if you shown some your effort and posted the code here so that others can continue where you're giving up. – tohecz Aug 17 '12 at 20:48
