I have noticed that after creating pdf forms, during scrolling the form file, sporadic images of the border of the boxes used in the form appear on the top and bottom of the box depending on whether I am scrolling up or down in the file. Although these images are only seen on the monitor and are not printed, they are annoying especially if the form is lengthy. I wonder if anybody has come across this problem and what can be done. In the preamble, I am using:

\usepackage{hyperref}
\hypersetup{ colorlinks=true,  pdfstartview=FitH , %
urlcolor=RezumeBlue, linkcolor= black, citecolor=RezumeBlue,
}

This is almost certainly a typical bug of your PDF viewer. It happens to me quite a lot, and not only with PDF form, but with various PDF files. I'm pretty sure that they cannot be removed by any LaTeX's command or tweak. – tohecz Aug 19 '12 at 21:24

I am using Ubuntu 12.04. This problem happened in previous versions of Ubuntu I was using in the past. The PDF viewers I am using are 'Adobe Acrobat 9' and 'Document Viewer'. With both, I get the same problem. Interestingly enough, the problem is dispensed with if 'page up' or 'page down' instead of up arrow or down arrow are used to scroll.
