I'm editing a proceeding frontmatter under the springer lncs template. Using the command of \addtocmark{xx}, i can add the top level chapter name in the "Table of contents". Now, I want to add the second level chapter names in the TOC. How can i achieve it.

For example:

Table of Content

Chapter 1

chapter 1.1

xxx11 ..................................16

[author names]

xxx12 ..................................24

[author names] .... .... ....

thanks!

Hi! This definitely needs a Minimal (non-)Working Example, starting in \documentclass, ending in \end{document} and containing as little things as possible to reproduce your problem. – tohecz Aug 26 '12 at 6:15

That's my opinion and doesn't represent this community: The document class of Springer is a private one. If you have any questions to this class, you can ask Springer. If you used a document class which is part of modern disribution, I would be glad to help you. – Marco Daniel Aug 26 '12 at 7:50
