This is a follow up question to How to split bibliography for different sections? for the answer using biblatex.

When I run the code provided, the references are not getting generated. Only the citation appears in the document but no bibliography is generated.

Also can I use \nocite with biblatex and generate a list of papers ordered by date under two heads: Publications and Working Papers.

For your first problem, it's tough for anyone to help troubleshoot without more information. Sorting by date has already been addressed in a previous question. – Audrey Aug 29 '12 at 13:04
Without some form of example and log files, we can't hope to answer this. I'll close a s 'too localized': request reopening if more info is available. – Joseph Wright Sep 18 '12 at 7:08
