Can you please give some details -- like your OS, tex distribution etc. As such, we will find it difficult to find a solution and you are unlikely to get good answers. – Harish Kumar Sep 2 '12 at 23:43
I am using Windows 7 and I am not sure about the distribution? – Vutukuri Sep 3 '12 at 0:19
I am trying to uninstall Miktex and reinstall it.. – Vutukuri Sep 3 '12 at 0:26
If possible do it as admin and try to install a complete MikTeX installation. – Harish Kumar Sep 3 '12 at 0:27

@Harish: A single user installation (installed as user in the user account in a folder created by the user) is much easier to handle than a multiuser installation where you have to worry about who should do what with which rights. – Ulrike Fischer Sep 3 '12 at 7:51
