# \addbibfile and bibliography styles [closed]

I am using the command `\addbibfile` for the bibliography instead of `\bibliography`.

But now, I cannot use `\bibliographystyle` because TeX does not recognize the command. What do I have to do to choose the bibliography style now?

@Monica Your question suggests you are using `biblatex` (which defines `\addbibresource`). Is that the case? If so, you do not use 'traditional' styles at all: see What to do to switch to biblatex? and biblatex for idiots for some hints. – Joseph Wright Sep 26 '12 at 16:26
