I have branches in a lyx file in which there are external files. These files are (lesson1, lesson2 etc) and they have examples and exercises in them. The examples are not being numbered unlike exercises which are numbered correctly.
What needs to be done to ensure that the examples are numbered as well. Bear in mind that the module "Theorems(AMS) Numbered by type" is already loaded, I even inserted the external documents without branches but still never got numbered. I would want the examples to be numbered sequentially in the whole document as the exercises.
