!pdfTeX error: pdflatex (file LinLibertineO-osf-sc-t1--base): Font LinLibertine
O-osf-sc-t1--base at 720 not found
==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced!

I get this message with a short advice, who quickly disappear.

This advice says I have to use ttf2pk.

I use the newest version of the package libertine within MiKTeX.

Are their any experience with this problem?

Can you show a minimal document code that produces the problem? – egreg Nov 25 '12 at 10:29
Show the location of the pdftex.map used by pdflatex (you find it at end of a log file from a pdflatex run). – Ulrike Fischer Nov 25 '12 at 11:20
{C:/Users/ericdanielski/AppData/Local/MiKTeX/2.9/pdftex/config/pdftex.map} With libertineotf and XeTeX everything works fine. But with TeX Gyre Pagella it is the same. – Eric Danielski Nov 25 '12 at 15:08
How did you install/update the libertine package (and obviously the TeX Gyre fonts, too)? Perhaps you need to update the format files as admin and as user, see also Difference between administrative and user mode of MiKTeX. – Speravir Nov 26 '12 at 1:38
I install the libertine package as an admin, but after a new installation, the compilation works. How can I close the Topic. – Eric Danielski Nov 27 '12 at 22:39
