A nice feature of jabref is the ability to create custom entries as seen here: http://jabref.sourceforge.net/help/CustomEntriesHelp.php

Is there a way to export these to other users to enable them to import the custom entry so they too can have the same custom entry on their system with minimal effort?

I thought maybe if you exported the file output with every field filled in the user's system would update to have this entry available?

This question doesn't seem to be about latex itself, but rather about jabref. Maybe you should try the support for jabref instead. – T. Verron Jul 6 '13 at 14:45
