After installing Ubuntu 12.04 I was trying to install Kile as to write .tex file . But this message showing after attempting install Kile and updates:

W:Failed to fetch gzip:/var/lib/apt/lists/partial/security.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_precise-security_restricted_binary-i386_Packages Hash Sum mismatch , E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead

Now I can't install software. What can I do now?

Looks like an Ubuntu issue, not a TeX one: should we migrate to AskUbuntu? – Joseph Wright Dec 31 '12 at 19:07
Welcome to TeX.sx! – texenthusiast Dec 31 '12 at 19:11
Welcome! First of all, have installed 12.04 from scratch or upgraded from a previous version? Usually you will need to have KDE Libraries 4.2 or newer, Qt 4.5 or newer, Cmake 2.6.2 and newer,a recent C++ compile. Try in a terminal session sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kile/stable, sudo apt-get update, sudo apt-get upgrade and see if that fixes your issue! – Thanos Dec 31 '12 at 19:23
