MikTeX 2.7 wasn't able to generate the PDF file. I am using Adobe Reader on Windows 7.

I need to know how to fix this as soon as possible.

What version of TeXnicCenter are you using? If using version 1.0, please update to version 2.0. (There was an incompatibility between TeXnicCenter and MikTeX which has been solved with version 2.0.) – Axel Sommerfeldt Jan 7 at 7:57

@AxelSommerfeldt I doubt that this is the source of the problem. miktex 2.7. has reached its "end-of-life" and so there is no on-the-fly-installation dialog which texniccenter could block. We need a minimal example or at least the log-file. – Ulrike Fischer Jan 7 at 8:09

Please, could you try to give us more details about the software you are using and the code that generates the problem? – ienissei Jan 7 at 8:27

Welcome to TeX.sx! As @ienissei said: Please add a minimal working example (MWE) that illustrates your problem. Without any information there is not much anyone can do. – Qrrbrbirlbel Jan 7 at 9:13

Is there any particular reason you must use an older version of MiKTeX? – C.R. Jan 7 at 10:09
