# Shortening the whitespace for \begin{itemize}

I have some items on my resume that have listed bullets, like so:

But I find the distance between the • and the title is too far, so I'd like to change it. How would I go about doing this? My code just looks like:

\textbf{Title}, \emph{Further information} \hfill{Dates}
\begin{itemize}
\item{}
\end{itemize}

With the enumitem package you could use \begin{itemize}[leftmargin=*]. Also, while code snippets are useful in explanations, it is always best to compose a fully compilable MWE that illustrates the problem including the \documentclass and the appropriate packages so that those trying to help don't have to recreate it. – Peter Grill Jan 17 at 23:01
If you want to do it manually, there is always the option to use the command \vspace, for example \vspace{-0.2cm}. – Jana Jan 18 at 7:36
