Voodoopad has a "render math" command which renders LaTeX. All the math symbols I have tried work fine. However, I can't seem to get bras and kets working - instead of rendering it simply pastes in a copy of the last thing i rendered.

I do have the braket package. I couldn't get LaTeXiT to do bra/kets, until i figured how to add packages under preferences>templates. How do I get Voodoopad to invoke the braket package?

Probably Voodoopad uses MathJax, which is not LaTeX, although it can interpret a LaTeX-like syntax. However it can't load LaTeX packages for extending the set of commands. – egreg Jan 30 at 21:27
The render math functionality only started working after I downloaded MacTeX. – user25270 Jan 30 at 22:27
