Two days ago had to reinstall TeXnicCenter (current version Beta 1 which works with MiKTeX 2.9 – Windows Vista); Problem is: when I click the error symbol I hear the sound (the same for warnings and bad boxes info) but it doesn't jump to error line; actually I opened several files and can only see the arrow with bad boxes info… This happens when running to .pdf or .dvi or .ps

We need to be able to reproduce the problem in order to verify and suggest a fix. With the given information, this might be difficult to do. Moreover, this might only be a problem with the editor (not TeX/LaTeX) unfortunately. Have you checked the TeXnicCenter forum? – Werner Feb 2 at 16:07
Are you sure you have errors? If you have compiled and got no errors or warnings the error or warning button are grey and can't show an error or warning ... Please check if there are errors or warnings in the log file. – Kurt Feb 2 at 23:19
