EveryShipout errors when using TikZ with conference style Ah, indeed: After deleting the provided eso-pic.sty it works! Since LaTeX now uses the standard (non-hacked) eso-pic: Are there any substantial differences in their hacked version, i.e., will the output now be different? |

Rounded corners in TikZ trees. THANKS to Andrew for raising interest in this question by adding the bounty (I had exactly the same problem and asked for help in the chat) and of course to Saso for coding this solution! |

Rounded corners in TikZ trees. Great! That works really good and is, as you said, the only proper solution to this! |

Rounded corners in TikZ trees. This is a fast and simple way to achieve the desired effect. However, if you have several nodes in various relations to each other or with different values of rounded corners it requires a lot of manual work. |

Hyperref links to correct page, but too low (headings not visible) @MarcoDaniel: Thanks for this reminder! Sometimes I forget that the TeX-installation here in our office is quite old. After updating from the ancient v6.79a to v6.82o, the problem disappeared. Do you want to turn your comment into an answer? |

Wrong vertical position of heading created by \printindex Using imakeidx worked for me and it also results in a correct vertical alignment of the heading. However, the space inserted between the heading and the first index entry differs from the space between a standard chapter heading and the first line of the following paragraph. That effect didn't show up when using idxlayout therefore I accepted lockstep's answer. |
