I can't find any game I like to play. Except Minecraft, I like that one. So I have to build my own game I guess. One day I'll finish it. Maybe.

comment Typesetting molecular transition lines, like CO 5-4
@Ruben I am not a chemist or spectroscopist either; I do not know the rule. I'll ask around in the lab.

comment Does latin modern sans serif have a weird kerning, or is there a problem on my side?
Unfortunately the overall grayness doesn't really matter for me since I won't have much text on my slides. Maybe I'm the only one bothered here, some of my colleagues use comic sans.

comment Alignment/whitespace to compensate for negative sign
Invisible characters make a lot of sense, thanks for the tip. And also for pointing me to \mathbin and \mathrel, that might be handy soon.

comment Is there no easier way to float objects and set margins?
How do you compute the 30pt for vskip? The vertical size of the logo here is 3 / 2.54 * 72.20 = 85.28 points. But how do you know the height of the text?

comment \index causing spurious whitespace
In the following code: In first approximation, none of the intermediate frequency radiation comes back to the radio-frequency side of the mixer (this is however possible and is called ``IF feedback\index{IF feedback}'')., redefining index (or defining myindex) to include \ignorewhitespaces does not remove the extra space before the closing double-quote.

comment Conventions for typesetting complex vectors and vectors with complex components
I changed my newcommand \vect to have \newcommand{\vect}[1]{\bm{#1}}. I like that bm gives me both bold and italic, as indeed the upright letters were itching me.
