comment Cleveref reference name depending on label instead of counter?
well, you should define a \carsection and \trucksection instead. That's of course solvable as well, and I would consider it more standard.

Hello! Well, we could draw this for you, but we generally don't like to do that, it's a bit like "do this for me", and we are a support place, not a non-paid service place. Moreover, if you learn to do it by yourself (and not just copy the code someone makes for you here), you'll advance your skills and won't need to ask basic questions next time ;) Some guides for one of the drawing libraries, TikZ, can be found in tex.stackexchange.com/q/9116

Do you really need to inform user that m_1,\dots,m_K makes K elements? IMHO it's a bit ridiculous. If you get rid of these inner \underbraces, you'll be fine then, won't you?

comment Manage a publishing house with Latex
Difficult to say quite. Most people that need something like this code it themselves in low-level LaTeX (this includes me, but as well large organizations like AMS who have their own TeX specialists). I don't have any sources of knowledge for this, sorry.

Hi! I do have some experience with large and complicated multi-part works. However, I don't think it's possible to pass this experience by answering this question, for several reasons: (1) The question is way too complicated to answer, there's too much into it, many technical details involved etc. (2) I'm not willing to spend so much time over it, excuse me for that, we all only volunteer here with no profit from that. (3) I don't think that trying to answer such a complicated thing would be any effective in the sense that you would gain the necessary knowledge.

@Manuel \mbox doesn't look like a good choice here since it's doesn't use local font size.

Hello! Sorry, but this is mathematically not the same as the original formula.

@1010011010 Exactly what Joseph says: TeX looks ahead to check that the control sequence is complete. A bit like REGEX context ;)

@mhelvens No worries. I hope you're not angry at me for casting the first vote and that you don't take it personally since it's not like that! G'night.

Well, I think this is a one for meta. I mean, if you open a discussion over this in meta, if you open it on meta, I'll support discussing it. I'm not 100% convinced that it should be closed and that the close reason is reasonable.

@mhelvens Please complain to StackExchange powers. I didn't come with the word "off-topic" here. Off-topic is a bad notion that is supposed to cover the cases when the question somehow doesn't "fit in". The question really appears to be impossible to answer, which makes it unsuitable for SE, or "off-topic", as the powers above call it.

Welcome to TeX.SX! You can have a look at our starter guide to familiarize yourself further with our format. This question is too broad. You basically ask 5 different questions, all of which have been asked before. A lot of related reading (answering most of your questions) is actually located in the right panel in the Related section.

This question appears to be off-topic because the problem occurs in a completely different place and this is only a random side-effect of it.
