Thanks a lot for your answer! I chose solution A for my document. Maybe you can comment briefly, why you append ^^J after each line in the second argument of \write? It doesn't seem to change anything if i omit it.

This is not valid latex syntax. You have to omit both dollar-signs to achieve what you want.

comment TeX Live — problem with install [Ubuntu, bash]; new packages
I would not recommend to put files in directories otherwise maintained by the package manager. Instead i suggest to put the package related files in your own texmf tree. You can get the root path of this tree by invoking kpsewhich --var-value=TEXMFHOME. Of course you can change TEXMFHOME to whatever you like.

Thank you very much for your thorough explanation and the solution. Setting \parsep to 0pt solved it, like you've written. Seen from my current level your answer has definitely the expertise i was looking for. And i share your feeling, that you was useful at this instant of time as you posted this answer :) I hope that my comforting words help you to get out of your depression =) ... just kidding

Thank you for your fast reply. It just solved my problem. But it's scary that only both commands have the desired effect. If i hadn't tested the code, and had read the 'layouts' documentation, i would swear that only one of the commands would make it. Maybe someone can answer why latex results sometimes seems so indeterminate to me!?

I am wondering if i can think that the coordinate form ([parameter]node) changed the context of node!? If i use a node in simple geometrical context it just designates a pair of coordinates. Or more specifically the coordinates of the center of node. Does ([parameter]node) change the meaning of node, so that it refers now to the boundary of the node? Maybe you can give an explanation for this behavior that is not beyond my understanding!? Best regards
