Well, yes. Printing the items and the respective commas. Your solution is great - I like the \show\listA, but just with an extra whitespace between items.

Thanks. Can you help me altering the code so as to not ignore white spaces in the list? I would like A, C.

comment How to create a comma-separated list in LaTeX according to the number of elements in another list?
@egreg I am trying to build something based on your comma separated list solution, but I don't quite understand how it's supposed to be applied. Shouldn't \myheader expand to species: Haliaeetus albicilla, species: Lagidium viscacia, ... ?

comment gitinfo (xstring): tag info does not work because of “tag:” before version number
Thanks for the explanation and the code! Just out of interest, do you know why is it not possible just to issue \newcommand{\git@vtag}... before the gitVtag?

Thanks, that works for my case. Can you explain a little what the various cut commands do? Ideally a solution would allow both tag: 0.2 and 0.2 to work.

Add \input{glyphtounicode}\pdfgentounicode=1 to your preamble after loading MinionPro. Possible duplicate of tex.stackexchange.com/questions/57866/…

@egreg why would you not want to do this for your own documents?

comment Character substitution: combine \llap{(} and \llap{-} to \llap{(-}
@cfr I've closed the question you linked because it was essentially a duplicate. The trickery above does not work with - when amsmath is loaded which MinionPro does by default. David already provided a solution for that.
