beamer header takes too much space @MikeRenfro: Thanks, I love the idea but it turns out that beamer doesn't automatically put parts into its TOC. I found some workarounds in tex.stackexchange.com/questions/5285/… but it's quite a mess. Perhaps there is a theme that handles the parts properly? |

beamer header takes too much space @cmhughes But if I were to shorten the titles (thanks for the tip, btw, didn't know I could!) I'd be saving horizontal space, whereas it's vertical space I'm concerned about. Any particular theme you can suggest, anyway? |

How to make a short running author list? I write a separate \author and \address for each one. Perhaps it is not the smartest way.... |

How to make a short running author list? But what about the affiliations? This solution requires me to do dagger, doesn't it? |

How best to set a comparison table in beamer? I ended up using the columns environment, but maybe I'll give this a try next time. Thanks! |

How to force a linebreak in itemization? Hi! It does move the first bullet like I wanted, but now the Proposition is also moved! How to get the benefit without the side-effect? Thanks! |

How to force a linebreak in itemization? But I don't want a linebreak every time. I guess I could define two separate prop environments, but it's rather awkward. Thanks anyway. Other ideas? |
