comment How to negate a specific symbol?
@Werner I think it's a great idea to have a canonical answer for this type of question. I'm not well versed in this sort of stuff however, so couldn't provide the kind of answer required.

comment How to negate a specific symbol?
There are a couple of good answers here that might be adapted if you don't like the looks of \not.

comment How to negate a specific symbol?
There may be other ways, but all I know for a general rule is to throw a \not in front of they symbol to be negated.

Have you tried searching the class file for "Georgia Institute of Technology"? If you simply want it to say something different, then search/replace in the class file might be easiest.

comment Automatically generated BINGO cards
@aklingensmith I think it's fixed now. Either I was out to lunch, or sequences used to be indexed starting at 0, and are now indexed starting at 1. I changed the code to reflect this.

comment Automatically generated BINGO cards
@aklingensmith Hi there, one of the functions used in the code was deprecated, I replaced it with the new version. I'm also getting a blank that I can't explain at the moment. I'll have a look and see if I can figure out why.

comment Using TeX to split words into syllables
You pointed it out above, but to give a concrete example from the example paragraph. "Sizable" has only one hyphenation point, siz-able, yet (for me at least) has 3 syllables: siz-a-ble.

comment How can I use plain TeX with TeXnicCenter or another IDE?
As an additional option, follow Werners instructions, but for the profile LaTeX->pdf, change pdflatex.exe to pdftex.exe to bypass the .ps step.

@MarianoSuárez-Alvarez That as well, good suggestion.

Maybe a low rep user could compile all this info into an answer including the centering information, the horizontal lines and the automatic mathmode setup.

comment I need a fully expandable function to expand in an “f” type argument
Can you replace \_write_expression: with an appropriate \seq_use as in changing parse expressions to \cs_new:Npn \_parse_expressions:n #1 { \seq_set_split:Nnn \l_collection_of_expressions_seq {,} {#1} \seq_put_right:Nx \l_formatted_expressions_seq { 3^{\seq_use:Nn \l_collection_of_expressions_seq {x2-} x2-}} } and eliminating write expressions.
