comment Page break after \maketitle
+1 Using tufte-handout, the accepted answer centres my title (though not my logo) even when removing the center environment around the \includegraphics statement, this answer just works. Apart from the centering issue though, both work equally fine with declaring the logo as a marginfigure :)

comment TikZ coding style
@Raphael Whenever I feel the urge to share my Latex code for general feedback rather than to solve a specific problem, I wonder whether Latex code review questions are on topic here. But my sharing and please-criticise-my-code mood usually passes long before I ask the question on meta.

comment Dos and Don'ts of \pgfplotsset{compat=newest}
@Christian The only scenario I can think of is where the content of the document is prepared over a long time during which new versions might be rolled out. Like in software development, compat=newest can then be used during "development" of the document and frozen to a certain version once the document is ready to be prepared for final layout.

comment How to center text without adding space AND not altering alignment of surrounding text?
+1 Works without needing to know where the line breaks (though the OP didn't state this as a requirement)

comment Efficiently maintaining a long-term Bibliography database
I stopped using Mendeley after I hit the 2GB limit. I am admittedly a paper hoarder but not being able to select which files to synchronise with Mendeley meant I couldn't add any files once I hit the limit ...

comment Ensure float appears directly after `\afterpage` and `landscape`
@wakjah \cleardoublepage and the twoside option (if you're using the article class) are probably your friend. But you'll probably get a more comprehensive answer from someone that actually knows Latex if you include a minimal working example.

comment Where do you find TikZ/PGF source code?
@Qrrbrbirlbel With Notepad++, you don't even need to open the files. Yes, you can search something in all open files, but you can also search something in all files in a folder (from the same dialog, IIRC). I probably miss Notepad++ the most since switching to Ubuntu ...

comment Read boxplot prepared values from a table
Also, sincere apologies for accepting early. I usually wait a day or so, but Jake's answer was working so well until I properly looked through my actual requirements. I removed the accepted mark for the moment so that people won't think the update has already been addressed.

comment Read boxplot prepared values from a table
@GonzaloMedina I was contemplating that but the answer to the updated question would be equally valid for the original, if not better, as it would be more general. The change in the MWE is literally one line (the second line of data in the table). However, if people feel strongly about it, I have no qualms opening a separate question.
