Is there a way to quickly jump to a given section/chapter in TeXnicCenter? Christian, could you please edit your answer to include a note about the necessity of working with projects? That was the hang-up for me. Also, is there a way to include tags which don't show up as sections? Thanks for your help. |

Is there a way to quickly jump to a given section/chapter in TeXnicCenter? Ahh, thanks Speravir. That's what I needed to know. For those who are new like me and need help creating a project from an existing file, look here. (It's pretty non-obvious.) |

How to put large figure caption on separate page from the figure @Thorsten: I guess I should have been clear that the fltpage package did not work for me after an hour of wrangling, and I suspected it would not for others. Thanks, though. |

How to put large figure caption on separate page from the figure I'm happy to accept this answer since many people may find it useful. Personally, the fltpage package (which is experimental) did not work for me after about an hour of tracking down one mysterious error after another. |

How to put large figure caption on separate page from the figure @Jake I am using the \caption command but not the caption package. My figure is in a float. |

How to put large figure caption on separate page from the figure @Moderator I agree that if it's possible, it's best to keep the captions concise. However, in some cases the diagrams are quite detailed and they require extensive explanation. It's preferable to keep this explanation in a carefully identified region (the caption). |
