tikz - command node - text @AndrewStacey: yeah, it sure depends on the requirements – I can only guess what they are supposed to be. |

Make line extend beyond endpoint and intersect with line @Brent.Longborough: tkz-euclide looks promising, I will look into it! Is there an English manual as well? My French is a bit rusty. |

Using pgfplots, is there a way to overlay multiple stacked plots with different ranges? @Vegard: you can specify filters for coordinates, maybe that would work? ( /pgfplots/y filter/.code) |

Using pgfplots, is there a way to overlay multiple stacked plots with different ranges? What do you want your y values be when they are not specified? 0? If so, then make it so (0 0 0, 1 0 0, 5 0 0). pgfplots cannot guess your missing values. |

Vertical line in middle of a binomial tree (lattice) Yeah, but nodes in empty cells often has side effects (i.e. when you apply a style to all cells). I'm sure there's a way round it, I just don't know it … |

Vertical line in middle of a binomial tree (lattice) This is good! (+1) Had I only known this a while back, when I needed this myself. I used the calc library instead to achieve the same effect |

Vertical line in middle of a binomial tree (lattice) @IssacM: yeah, I forgot to delimit the calc expressions. Fixed now (also added names to empty cells) |

Avoid line breaks after \lstinline It's possible to use \lstset inside curly braces and set a property only inside it. Using {\lstset{breakatwhitespace} ... paragraph with text and code ...} works without messing up the rest of the document. Thanks! |

I want to draw block diagrams, what's wrong? You probably need to download and install that package first. (The download link can be found on the referenced page on texample.net) |
