comment pgfplots - How can I use the same single coordinate from multiple data files for one plot?
/pgfplots/table/create col/copy column from table would enable you to build up a new table from data from different files.

For the final entry, placing text on the left of the picture can be achieved with a minipage: {\begin{minipage}{5cm}Received\dots\end{minipage} \tabgraph{sdaf}{capt}}

This is probably getting closed as a duplicate, but in any case, this answer would be more helpful if you said what you have changed.

comment Inserting math equation in text causes '?' to show up and for escaped '/' to not show!
@Mico Many thanks. Of course I should have written /. The \/ is probably the cause of the "disappearing slash" the poster reports. I have updated my answer.

comment How do I fix this error with my arrows
It occurs because the plot is made up of many (c. 250) short curves segments and the arrow tip is only applied to the last curve segment. For the sine curve the final segments point in roughly the same direction, whereas for cosine they are varying rapidly. A crude fix is to draw the arrows separately.

comment biblatex + biber + babel: configuration for polish language and style of bibliography (missing polish.sty)
\DeclareQuoteAlias{german}{polish} will let csquotes use german when polish is specified, which gives the quote style you ask for. For changes to the biblatex layout see tex.stackexchange.com/q/12806/15925

@drat I don't think it is quite a duplicate - here the first and last text in each group is meant to be at the tips of the braces

comment How to get rid of blank page after Appendix title
Welcome to TeX.SX! Please make your code compilable (if possible), or at least complete it with \documentclass{...}, the required \usepackage's, \begin{document}, and \end{document}. That may seem tedious to you, but think of the extra work it represents for TeX.SX users willing to give you a hand. Help them help you: remove that one hurdle between you and a solution to your problem.

By "portable" I mean if you move your code to another machine or account then you will have to rewrite the paths before it will work.

comment Using subfiles package with .sty files
Welcome to TeX.SX! Some people may find this helpful, however such full paths are not a portable solution, which others may need.
