Working with latex for all the reports and articles. In the comfort zone using the packages for solving the problems but still having problems writing macros and doing really new stuff. Always learning ...

@Audrey, thanks for your answer. It works perfectly fine for me. What is the bug? I am using lualatex.

@Audrey, maybe not completely IEEE style, but I need [1,2] or [1-2]. It's much more beautiful to my mind. That command gives [1],[2]. The reason that I am using IEEE is the style of printing the references at the end.

@ach, I want ieee style. The output with multiple citation is [(1),(2)] but I want [1,2]. So parenthesis should be removed.

comment change only display of \thesubsection not the actual value
Thanks. It works perfectly fine. before `Alph{subsection}` I am also changing the font size using fontspec scaling feature. The size change gets reflected while referring to subsection letter (large 'A'). Where can you set the font to normalsize for it?

Is it possible to selectively set which words to be in color? Note that this is a text output so words like function or min should not be in color like MATLAB language.
