A computer science lecturer at University College London. I do stuff in logic, theorem proving, program analysis and verification. I'm a very enthusiastic TeX/LaTeX user, most days.

I also run a small site for LaTeX beginners in spanish: LaTeX Fácil.

comment What is the best package out there to typeset proof trees?
Thanks for the link, but I'm looking for something more like "natural deduction proofs" (I've clarified the question). Also for completeness please include the answer here, as well as linking to the external resource. This helps the answer live even if the external link goes down in the future.

Thanks for the answer, but I was looking for something more like "natural deduction proofs", i've added to the question a sketch of what I mean.

comment Line breaking (or hyphenation?) of references in apalike
That was the first thing I tried but it changes the style of the references and the problem somewhat still seems to be there (a two part lastname went past the margin of the page where a linebreak should have been inserted).

This is very similar to the proposed solutions posted in the original threads (see the question), I wanted to know if there is anything better. Moreover, I would like to process lists of arguments given as \Command{a,b,c} or \Command{a:b:c}.

comment How can I specify a long list of math operators?
Following the scheme above it wont be difficult to define a more general \MapCommand{\Cmd}{a,b,c} which expands to \Cmd{a}\Cmd{b}\Cmd{c}.
