This is not duplicate question. Please, try found widetext library in your Miktex distribution. I guess you will not be successful. Until now I used multicol, but I was hoping that it could be solved within koma-script and its possibilities.

OK. '\unsettoc{toc}{twocolumn}' is right way for main TOC. But for TOC per chapter (command '\minitoc') is still formatted in twocolumn layout.

comment MiKTeX 2.9 (for x86), Win 7 (x64): biber not running as if not installed
Could you add listing from your command line into your question? Especially from command biber myfile.bbl? Please see latex-community.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=22548

If your tex file produce file with extension myfile.bcf, try type in your command line biber myfile.bcf. Maybe you can see that in you project folder is myfile.bbl which has size 0B. This is important. In command line, you can se warning:INFO - This is Biber 1.8 INFO - Logfile is 'myfile.blg' INFO - Reading 'myfile.bcf' WARN - Warning: Found biblatex control file version 2.4, expected version 2.5 and this problem. Is that so?
