comment How to make such a nice table in LaTeX?
The table would actually look much nicer without all these useless lines...

What have you tried ? To me, simply using multicol or 2 minipage would do the trick.

comment Remove top indent of itemize without using minipage in tabular(x)
I am parsing HTML to LaTeX using pandoc, and its generates itemize when matching <ul></ul>. I wish I didn't have to hack pandoc's behaviour, and that I could stick to a full LaTeX solution, but well ^^ Pity :

Thanks for the clarification

The problem with this technique is that if I write something above the tabitemize, it will be overlapped by the latter (in this example, & 3 & this will be overlapped \begin{tabitemize} .... I am generating these data automatically, so if I could have a single environment that would work on all cases (because here I would switch to itemize, but that's because I'm a human), that would be perfect. If it's not possible, I'll just try to automate this.

English is not my native language so my message is probably not clear, because that's not what I meant. What I meant is that minipage do not break at page break, which is problematic in my case, as visible in the MWE. So if I could get rid off minipages, I'd be very happy

comment Unexpected behaviour of multicolumn/minipage in tabularx
Thank you for your input. How did you find the 8cm value ? I don't have the same margins, so if there's a technique to actually calculate this value easily, I'm very interrested.

@LaRiFaRi putting l will end up in my text not being wrapped at the end of the cell if it's too long.

The title of this question should be changed so it's easier to find it if people are struggling with the same problem, but since I have no idea what's going on, I couldn't find a right title for it.

comment How can I get page numbers to link to the table of contents in latex?
Did you try \rfoot{\hyperref[TOC]{\thepage}} ? Assuming you're using the fancyhdr package.

comment Keeping header “on top” in landscape mode
Well imagine the following document : page in portrait > page in portrait > page in landscape > page in landscape > page in portrait. The latter is not properly rendered, as mentioned above.

After further investigation, if I type a lipsum in a portrait page following a landscape page, the text definitely goes out of bound on the right. I'm yet to find what length is not reset.

comment Keeping header “on top” in landscape mode
Thank you for your input. The part which switches to landscape works perfectly, I managed to do it fit my needs. Yet, I am having a problem when switching back to portrait. Using your code, it seems the right part of the header is out of the page on portrait mode, as if a length was not reseted. Any input ?

What problem are you talking about ? Can you provide us a minimal working example so we can try it ourselves ?

comment Itemize and multicolumn : top space despite topsep being set to 0pt
This question should not be tagged as duplicate. The solution given in the reference link does not work with multicolumn.

comment Solving underfull warnings “the general way”
I am using longtable, tabularx, tabulary, etc, depending on the section of the report (it's a very long one, more than 200 pages with about 150 tables), but it does not solve everything
