XeTeX and Fedora: can't use OTF fonts @ArTourter: That's about right, but 'they' refers to different persons. The current maintainer actually has an account here. |

XeTeX and Fedora: can't use OTF fonts The most recent libertine package also provides OpenType support. If you have that package (5.3.0 is the latest version) you should use the libertine package, not libertineotf (but libertineotf will tell you that as well). |

Remote TeX from Windows RT If you install Dropbox you could probably write a script that runs a compilation whenever the file is updated. |

Losing small caps for serif font when merging mathpazo and sourcesanspro @Vincent: Sorry you found the documentation lacking. I've been working on an updated version of the package with updated and more complete documentation. Let me know if you're missing something. I've also created a new tag as per your suggestion. |

Changing numbers font features while changing shape @AndrewSwann: \libertineLF is defined in the latest version of the libertine package (in fact \liningnums —which my answer uses— is defined as \DeclareTextFontCommand{\liningnums}{\libertineLF}). You might want to update. |

change code font using mcode package It looks like Latin Modern Mono. It should be the default monospaced font. If it's not and you have it installed and if you can use XeLaTeX/LuaLaTeX you could try adding \usepackage{fontspec}\setmonofont{Latin Modern Mono} in your preamble. |

LaTeX macro for Wikipedia article link Welcome to TeX.sx! You didn't provide your code for \namedwikipedialink, please try to provide it in a minimal working example (MWE) (starting with \documentclass{...} and ending with \end{document}) so we reproduce your situation and find out what the issue is when we see compilable code. |

Choosing a font for a thesis For this purpose I created a short list of fonts. Also check out the community poll about font usage. The problem with this kind of question is that nobody will agree what good fonts are. The KP fonts don't appear in my list for example. |

How can I use Source Sans Pro in Tex-Live 2012? You can follow the quick install guide to install vanilla TeX Live. Also read the additional information for Ubuntu. If you have questions about the sourcesanspro package you can ask me in the chat room. Manual install is easiest with the TDS zip. If you're brave try the development version. |

Reformat \frac depending on numerator/denominator size difference Great suggestions! I've added a new version of wfrac.sty. It includes the \setparen{...}{...} and \setdiv{...} commands to change the parentheses and division mark. I've also added options: text, display, none, noparen, small, big, huge, lparen, rparen and div. |

Asymptote? Trying to install on Lion Welcome to TeX.sx! Usually, we don't put a greeting or a "thank you" in our posts. Upvoting is the preferred way here to say "thank you" to users who helped you. A tip: If you indent lines by 4 spaces, they'll be marked as a code sample. You can also highlight the code and click the "code" button (with "{}" on it). Also: It's not immediately clear what you are trying to accomplish. In general you shouldn't have to build anything from source. |
