How does “libertine-type1” work? @Jörg: I'm sure that most unmaintained packages will be replaced when there is a maintained alternative. Also: the new libertine-type1 package does have proportional/monospaced lining/old style figures.
Until someone ports all other features I'm afraid you are stuck with libertine-type1 and libertineotf. |

Multicolumn block is narrower than the surrounding text @T.Verron: You can center it by using \framebox[\linewidth][c] or just \framebox[\linewidth]. |

Generating smartphone-readable pdf I'm glad it worked pretty well, it's a pity that you had to break up formulae though. |

Is it possible to make a macro with \label? Works like a charm for me. Maybe you could include a minimal working example (MWE)? |

How does “libertine-type1” work? @Jörg: It might seem strange to replace the package, but it does make sense to replace a package that is no longer being maintained by one that is. Also: you can still download libertine-legacy from CTAN. Some more instructions can be found here. |

Compilation taking too long when including svg Inkscape can save as pdf, so that might be the easiest way to save your images and speed up the process. I recommend converting all text to paths to get the most consistent results. |

Linux Libertine package and fonts not working anymore (fall 2012) The new libertine package does include biolinum-type1. As for \libertineGlyph and \biolinumGlyph: they are not included in libertine or libertine-type1, but they are included in libertineotf if you use XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX. |

\subsection{…}-result in line with following text I've updated my answer with a list in the format I think you want. It makes use of a numbered list. |

Linux Libertine package and fonts not working anymore (fall 2012) May I ask why you'd rather go through the trouble of installing libertine-legacy manually instead of using the libertine-type1 package? |

Issue with input command Move one of the files to the directory of the other or create a symbolic link. |

Issue with input command It might be clearer if you actually knew where the files are located. If main.tex and whatever.tex are in the same directory, \input{whatever} should work. Otherwise you need to point to the exact location of whatever.tex. |

How to write a dirac delta symbol in LaTeX? In the Wikipedia article a regular delta is used as well. It is upshape however, so it may look different (you can use package upgreek en \updelta). Also: most people use \partial for derivatives. |

Insert pdf pages with choice of which pages of original doc I'm having trouble finding the question in your question. If your question is how to avoid the BadBox I believe you should update the question with that. |

Relative image path in renewed \maketitle Your answer still required the path to image, which wasn't what I wanted - and apparently isn't necessary. Your answer did lead me to my own answer - so thanks a lot! |

Relative image path in renewed \maketitle Thanks for the suggestion, but using TEXINPUTS is not very portable. What would work (for me) is to read the path to the title.tex file from within the file and use that in the path to image, but I have no idea how. There is probably a more elegant way to do something like what I want. How do packages provide images? |
