comment Automatically generated BINGO cards
Hmmm. I've been able to get some success by using an online compiler (writeLaTeX) instead of my normal compiler (TeXnicCenter), but now when it compiles a few of the bingo squares are blank.

So I've been looking for something like this for ages! ...the only problem is I can't quite get it to work. I'm under the impression that I'm supposed to replace the "N" with \setrannum with the number of items I want from the sequence, (so I've been changing it to 24), but is there more I'm supposed to adjust before this will finally compile for me? The closest I've gotten is 101 errors.

I just wanted to say that all of the answers submitted here were so helpful--I wish I could mark all three as the selected answer. Thanks so much!

comment Best way to have a piece of text in a fixed location on every beamer slide?
Thank you so much! I definitely have some exploring to do with this so I can really understand it, but it's an amazing help!

In regards to color, I actually really like what you did! My question was more so related to the code (which is more technical than what I've used, since I'm relatively new to LaTeX): I simply cannot find what would have to be modified to change the color.

After toying around with it for a while, I was able to get it over to the left simply by changing the \setbeamertemplate command to {sidebar left}. Of course, then the sidebar text overlapped the normal text, but after switching to the Hannover theme, this seemed to work out. I do have a question though: is there any particular reason the aim is a different color than the other two commands?

I'm going to toy around with this (it looks great!), but I may be back to ask for some help on getting it to the left side. I'll definitely try it on my own first, though.
